My Approach

Pause-Healing

Pause to reconnect with your true self, others and life around

How do we move from pause to inner peace?

My healing journey led me down many paths, gathering insights from spirituality, art, and science. Along the way, I also learned deeply from my family, friends, and others I encountered through work or somewhere else -sharing conversations, books and thoughts in ways that enriched my understanding and soul. Slowly I rebuilt my health and self-worth, but, more importantly, I learnt how to connect more deeply with my true self and life itself in the here and now.

My therapeutic approach is the outcome of these journeys. It’s about providing others with tools to discover their unique path to well-being and inner peace through knowledge and practice.

Life itself is our ultimate teacher, using our daily routines, family lives, workplaces, and relationships to reveal what may need to change within us. Facing the truth can hurt, and, too often, we react instead of stepping back to reflect. However, healing begins when we accept that something within us may be hindering our true identity.

The healing process starts by anchoring ourselves in the present moment, where mental noise from the past or future no longer controls us. This daily practice becomes easier with time, as long as we remember: every time we follow negative thoughts, our bodies eventually express or store the suffering. In contrast, each time we choose to stay alert in the present moment, our entire being can rest and find a renewed energy from within.

Where to begin?

It starts with a choice - your choice - to find the healing path that resonates most with you. You may choose from the following:

a. Practice presence by giving your full attention to what’s around you and within yourself without any judgement.

b. Turn to breathing or meditation on a daily basis to clear your body and mind of toxic emotions and thoughts,

c. Join a group once a week in situ to unburden and discover yourself through others' stories and feel this               liberating emotion that you are not alone.

d. Embark on a retreat to make a pause in your life for a few days and dedicate precious time to your body,           soul, and mind. Your own answers need quiet to be heard by you.
